Centra Foundation is delighted to welcome Ryanne Fenimore to the Board of Directors. Ryanne works at Cummins, Inc. in the Distribution Business Right Environment Group. Ryanne is originally from Brownsburg and graduated from Boston College four years ago with a degree is International Studies.
Ryanne spent her first three year at Cummins in the Corporate Responsibility group and enjoys being involved in projects and initiatives that improve our community and the quality of life for local residents. Ryanne’s previous community activities include; Bartholomew County Works Advisory Board, Cummins liaison to McDowell Education Center and the United Way Community Impact Review team.
Ryanne shared, “I’m very excited to join the board of Centra Foundation. I have volunteered my time and skills in the community in various ways while living here, and I look forward to this new opportunity to get more involved in the community.”
Centra Foundation was formed as a public foundation in 2012 with the goal of providing additional support in the communities where Centra Credit Union has a presence. The Board has been expanded to seven members to facilitate the grown and impact of the foundation.
Two other community members joined the Board during 2015. Doug Moore retired as Guidance Director at Columbus East High School in 2014. Doug career and experience in field of education is valuable to the work of Centra Foundation and the focus areas of financial literacy education and scholarships.
Mark Eddy is the Executive Director Leadership Southern Indiana (LSI) and resides in Sellersburg. Mark has led the growth and expansion of LSI since 2010. He is originally from West Virginia and prior to moving to Sellersburg served as YMCA Executive Director. Mark serves on a number of Boards in Southern Indiana including Metro United Way and the Floyd Memorial Foundation. He is also involved in several Great Clark Community Schools initiatives.
