Its time to sign up for Smart Money Family Fun Bike Ride!! It will be on Saturday, August 6th and will start and finish at the Columbus Municipal Airport. This is not just a bike ride but a wonderful opportunity to participate in money related games and activities while having fun with family and friends. Its just $5 for children 4-18 years of age. There are great prizes too, including three grand prizes of $100 gift certificates.
Adults and children had a wonderful time on our inaugural ride. We received lots of great feedback. Andi Orben told us;
“My family and I so enjoyed the bike ride! My husband and I are educators so we definitely value the financial literacy programs you support. We loved the educational component. Our kids (ages 10, 9 and 7) learned about local history, the cost of a college education, health, caring for the environment, car loans and WWII! The ride and activities were energizing for our bodies and minds. We look forward to next year.”
